Varcheg is a town of the Principality of Sturgia. The town's ruler is the Grand Prince of Sturgia, Raganvad of the Clan Gundaroving. 210 years after the Calradian Civil War, by the time of Mount&Blade: Warband, the Nordic town of Wercheg is presumed to be the same settlement given their similar names and location. Varcheg sits upon a hill overlooking the aptly-named Bay of Varcheg, with the
Mercenary contracts are calculated depending on your influence, so the more that you have the more gold you earn and influence you consume. Seeing that you are in negative influence (I suppose you attacked someone you were at peace with and forced war between them and your faction) it costs you money and gives you influence until you get back to positive Mercenaries. The player can now hire mercenaries as well. Seeking out minor factions and recruiting them to the player’s kingdom can be really nice to have extra armies running around under the player’s name, even if they are just mercenaries. The player needs to track down the leader of the clan and offer them a mercenary contract. Mount & and Blade II 2 two: Bannerlord - How to Hire Mercenaries & How It Works In this video I talk about the things I learned from hiring mercenaries in my own playthrough.
Taverns in major towns is a great place to find new companions, ransom prisoners, or hire mercenaries. I’ve been playing Mount & Blade II since it was released 2 years ago in early access, and there are two important observations about the development process of the game that I need to mention before reviewing it. First, is that during the
Use the mercenary places in each kingdom. #3. Bumbleton Dec 3, 2015 @ 3:40pm. recreuitment in wFaS is different than in MB, in that yhe best units you can get from villages are just militia. if you want cavalry, hire mercenaries, or join a faction in order to get it's regular units. #4. They have competitive stats and armor at lower tiers but max-tier mercenaries are generally slightly weaker than max-tier faction troops. A Hired Blade, for example, has identical stats to an Imperial Legionary but a weaker sword, no spear, and about half as much armor. It gets even worse if you compare them to Sturgian Heavy Axemen or

(For DRM version 4.2.2) Updated: 1/28/2023 This manual covers the mercenaries and bandit units that DRM has updated or changed. MERCENARIES Mercenary troops in DRM typically do not follow the pattern of being an upgrade tree, instead serving as fully trained specialists ready to hire and use in combat or units that fill a niche in the regions they are hired in. Why can't I be a mercenary ?? I know that to become a merc in warband, the faction must be at war and you need to have high relationship with lords. I'm trying to be a merc for Swadia, and it's at war with Nords, Vaegirs and Khergits. My relationship with the Swadia lords is : So then, why is nobody offering me a merc contract ?!!

They'll be wandering about the map or in taverns for the most part. One of my favorite features mercenary-wise is that you can recruit mercenary captains in taverns, and then you can give them troops and send them out to do their own thing. Only annoying part is finding them again. · 37 comments. · 78 comments.
Basically the title. The only way to see if there is mercenaries to hire is to physically go in the tavern and look for them. It should be like recruiting normal troops no loading screen, no walking around just to see that there ain't no mercenaries to buy.
If you happen to meet one walking about on the campaign map that’s fine too! You’ll need to talk to them and ask them about becoming a mercenary. If they’re at war with another faction, they will accept and let you join them and fight for their cause. You will get influence and gold for every enemy you help defeat. d6TMlM.
