The RF glass is really good and there will (must) be better bodies coming out. An Eos R is a lot cheaper than a 1DX II, you could get a R, start incesting in RF glass and then swap the R for the mirrorless successor to the 5D IV. Now, if you really need 2 card slots, that's a bit of a tougher proposal right now. 1.
