Chateau Maucoil has 36.5 hectares of vines in Chateauneuf du Pape. 34 hectares are used for the production of red wine grapes. 2.5 hectares are planted for white wine grape varieties. Chateau Maucoil also owns 17 hectares in Cotes du Rhone and 3 hectares of vines classified as IGP. In 2014, Chateau Maucoil was certified as being 100% biodynamic.

The ‘La Chapelle’ Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2019 is made from 100% Clairette Rosé, half of the cuvée is barrel fermented. This is a rich and intense with controlled concentration. The wine is full-bodied and intense with sandy tannins. Flavors include white peach, lime, baked stones, and a touch of oak.This Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine has received good scores from various critics. Critic tasting note: (2021 vintage) "Light greenish yellow in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, delicate herbal spices, yellow tropical fruit, subtle grilled pineapple, and mango with some blossom honey. A larger percentage of production of Chateauneuf du Pape is devoted to the production of red (close to 95%) and the remaining smaller percentage devoted to making white Chateauneuf du Pape wine. The white Chateauneuf du pape wines from the vineyards are tangy, weighty, and intensely perfumed. Roger Sabon produces 4 red Chateauneuf du Pape wines and 1, Chateauneuf du Pape white wine. Roger Sabon Olivets is produced from 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. From 50 year old vines, the terroir is limestone, rocks, stones, sand, and clay soils. The vines are planted in the le Deves d’Estouard and Pradel vineyards.

Domaine du Pegau produces 4 red Chateauneuf du Pape wines and 2 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc wines. Domaine du Pegau Reserve is produced from 85% Grenache, 9% Syrah, and 4% Mourvedre, Counoise, and other varieties. Previous vintages had a bit more Syrah in the blend. To produce the wine of Domaine Pegau reserve, the grapes are not destemmed.
