Vancouver,BC,Canada. Ive owned a 2019 690r and currently have a T7. The 690 was quicker on the road to me. The 690 ripped. T7 is a better overall fit for the riding I do, and the motor is especially suited to general ADV/Dualsport riding. If I had time/money I'd also have a 690 still.
The ktm is an enduro, for verry technical trailriding, more competition minded. More hardcore. The tenere is a touring bike with quite good performance off-road if you have the right tires. (I will post a few pics later of a trip I made today in muddy conditions with a friend). The tenere is also crash proof. I guess you now have to look at the new price of a 690 versus the Yam--the Yam is now cheaper!
